Booyaa was founded in 1998 by Michael Romero, from his garage in La Habra, California. After years of front line trade shows targeting both northern and southern California markets, Booyaa saw a tremendous response from consumers.

The viral nature of the Booyaa name had become synonymous with excitement and passion for many things in life. The Booyaa name is constantly being utilized by many media outlets on television, in movie theatres and in different sports settings such as Football, Hockey, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and various other sports.

In 2004 Romero partnered with Pitman and together, they brought the Booyaa brand into the world of Mixed Martial Arts.
